Welcome to Fort CollinsWe're glad you have moved to Fort Collins. The Newcomers Club provides an excellent way to meet other newcomers and has many activities to help you learn about the area.

Eligibility for membership includes those who have resided in Fort Collins and the surrounding towns or other unincorporated areas for two years or less. Surrounding towns or areas must have a population of fewer than 40,000 according to the city tax records (Loveland's population exceeds 40,000). Members need to renew their active status annually for up to four years. Annual dues are due by October 1 and are $30 per single member or household.

To complete this membership application:

  1. Complete the personal contact information box.
  2. Read the Release and Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement and agree by clicking the I/we agree... checkbox.
  3. Indicate your activitiy interests - open to all members (check as many as you like).
  4. Click Join and send a check to the Membership Officer.

Your membership will become effective when the Membership Officer receives your dues. Send a check made out to Fort Collins Newcomers Club for $30 to:

Release and Waiver of Liability and Indemnity AgreementIn consideration of being permitted to participate in certain activities associated with the Fort Collins Newcomers Club (FCNC), THE UNDERSIGNED, for himself/herself, his or her personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin, acknowledges, agrees and represents that he or she understands and accepts the risks inherent in any activity or activities he or she will participate in with the FCNC.

Further, THE UNDERSIGNED agrees that personal safety is of the utmost importance and is primarily dependent upon the individual taking proper care of him or her self and, therefore, THE UNDERSIGNED agrees to make sure that he or she knows how to safely participate in all activities, and agrees to observe any and all rules and practices which may be employed to minimize the risk of injury and agrees and warrants that if, at any time, he or she feels anything to be unsafe that he or she will immediately advise the appropriate FCNC official(s) of such and will immediately cease participation in said activity.

THE UNDERSIGNED hereby releases, waives, discharges and covenants not to sue FCNC and its members, all for the purposes herein referred to as "releasees", from all liability to THE UNDERSIGNED, his personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin for any and all loss or damage, and any claim or demands therefore on account of injury to the person or property or resulting in death of THE UNDERSIGNED, whether caused by negligence of the releasees or otherwise while THE UNDERSIGNED is participating in any activity with FCNC.

THE UNDERSIGNED understands that FCNC is not an agent of, and has no responsibility for any third party, which may provide any services including food, travel, or other goods or services associated with the organization.

THE UNDERSIGNED further understands that FCNC may provide these services only as a convenience to participants.

THE UNDERSIGNED agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FCNC from and against any and all liabilities, damages, claims, lawsuits, costs (including court costs, attorneys fees) and actions of any kind or description for any damage, loss or injury caused by an act or omission on the part of FCNC and its members, including any negligent conduct but excluding any gross negligence or willful misconduct of FCNC or its members.
